Do you need funding to progress your career in paediatrics?

The Foundation invites applications from existing paediatric professionals at any level (or those returning to paediatrics), who need help in funding education that allows them to progress their Paediatric Career.

Please note we have recently received and supported multiple applicants for the Allergen Masters course and to undertake training in EMDR & Physical Examination and Assessment of Children and Young People. Course funding is restricted to the current financial year only. Courses commencing in the next financial year (After December 2025) cannot be funded by this year’s panel.

Applicant Declaration

In the event that I leave my current role voluntarily within a 12 month period on completion of the course or during the course, or I do not complete the course, the Foundation will seek to reclaim up to 50% of the funding awarded.

This does not apply if you are leaving your current role to pursue full time education to progress your career in paediatrics e.g. a Nursing degree. I confirm that if I receive partial funding for a course, I am able to meet and am responsible for the remainder of the fees.

I confirm that I have read the TEDF criteria document and confirm I meet the criteria of the Foundation’s funding policy.

I attach evidence from my current and/or previous paediatric roles testimonies that show how I have demonstrated key values of empathy and compassion for both patients and their families. We would love to see written testimonies from children or families and from colleagues who can evidence you displaying these values. We are hoping to receive a testimonial from at least one child or their family from every applicant. We do understand this may be difficult for some staff so do let us know the reasons if you are submitting only colleague testimonies. Thank you.
