I am Niki Green of The Contented Child along either a group of great friends, am taking on a 16-mile walk in support of the Evie Dove Foundation. This cause is very close to my heart. I lost my own father to a brain tumour, so I know first-hand the impact that brain cancer can have on a family. Through my career, I have the privilege of working with children every day, which makes Evie’s story resonate even more deeply with me. Evie lived in my local area, and her legacy continues to inspire so many. Walking these miles is my way of honouring her memory and supporting the vital work the Foundation does for children and families facing the toughest of times.
