Please join me for the Portsmouth Evie Dove Foundation Walk on Saturday 6th
September 2025.

Evie was diagnosed with a brain tumour in April 2021 and tragically lost her battle
with cancer only a year later in March 2022. She was just 13 years old when she
died.

If you know me, you’ll know I’m living with a brain tumour which, although benign,
causes me issues every single day; but I’m fortunate enough to still be here – Evie
wasn’t given that privilege.

The Foundation was created in 2022 in Evie’s honour, and since then has sponsored
hundreds of Evie Dove Foundation Heroes – please take time to watch the YouTube
video on the home page to understand where this idea came from.

In 2023 I walked the Big Coastal Walk in Kent but appreciate not everyone can make
it to Kent, and wanted to do something to help, so have organised a Portsmouth
Walk. We will be walking 16 miles together on a lovely flat route around our
wonderful Portsea island.

Included in your entry fee of £10 is a lovely electric pink Evie Dove Foundation t-
shirt, and a finishers medal!
