Eligibility for Prizes

Thanks so much for joining the ‘Evie Dove Foundation League’, and for doing your bit to improve the speed and pastoral quality of medical care for sick children in the UK by increasing the number of compassionate Paediatric Nurses, Doctors and Consultants through awarding grants to help fund progression through higher education.
We have a prize fund of £1k for the 22/23 season, generously donated by one of our amazing sponsors. We are sure you will understand that we need to have a set of rules for how this prize money is allocated.
To put yourself in with a chance of winning a prize, you will need to make a £10 pledge to the Evie Dove Foundation, AND convert this into a £10 payment to the Foundation when we have charity status.
If you don’t do both of these then you will be playing just for fun – you are really welcome, but it’s really important we make that clear up front! No pledge/payment = no prize!
If you make a pledge and/or payment of less than £10, you will be in the mix for a percentage of each prize – for example if you pledge £5, you will be eligible for 50% of every prize available.
The league is open for new entrants until 23:59 on Wednesday 31st August. If you have not entered a team AND made a pledge by this deadline, then you will not be eligible for any prize money and will be playing just for fun.
When we have charity status we will contact you directly to convert your pledge into payment. We will ask you to make payment within 14 days of our contact for you to be eligible for any prizes. If you do not make payment, again you will not be eligible for any prize money and will be playing just for fun.
Prizes will be awarded for the following categories, and will be paid out within one week of the final game of the season.
- Overall winner = £300
- Best Non Triple Captain Gameweek = £125
- Best total team score in the week you play your Triple Captain = £125
- Best Free Hit = £125
- Lowest number of transfers (to qualify for this prize you will need to achieve a minimum of 1950 points over the season – just to ensure we do not reward ‘inactive’ teams!) = £125
- Mystery prize find = £150
- Best Team Name – judged by Howard, Katie & Edward. Their decision is final! = £50
In the event of a tie in any category, prize money will be shared equally.

Please join us for the Evie Dove Foundation Fundraising Walk (Midlands Chapter) on Saturday 7th September 2024 – which will coincide with the founding walk happening in the South!

We are expecting it to be hugely popular, so please sign up asap and secure your place…

The Watery Stroll – 3.5 miles – £10 per person (includes an Evie Dove t-shirt for the walk so please remember to tell us your size when you book your spot!).

The walk will start at the Hatton Arms CV35 7JJ (there’s plenty of parking available), take the nature trail down to Hatton Station and then return along the canal to end back at the Hatton Arms. On your return, there will be some live music and the chance to purchase a light dinner / drinks.

Check out the highlights of the 2023 walk here which was a huge success raising over £28k for our Evie Dove Foundation heroes!!!
