Gameweek 19

These turnarounds are coming thick and fast, no sooner did Chelsea and Nottingham Forest sign off GW18, now here we go again with GW19 –  long gameweek now – kicking off this evening with Brentford v Liverpool at 17:30 (16:00 deadline for us FPL managers), and finishing on Thursday 12th January with Fulham v Chelsea, the second game of a double gameweek for both teams – hope you are nicely stocked up on West London players! Anyone keeping up, or even know what day of the week it is??

In between it will be the FA Cup and a weekend off for us, before we begin again on Friday January 13th, and a potential double gameweek for Man City and Tottenham depending on how the FA cup plays out…….albeit good luck navigating your way through Pep Roulette for a Man City double gameweek as it now turns out he is picking his expensively assembled team based on players body language on the training ground – clearly Cancelo and Phil Foden are not giving him the right vibes right now – can you really afford to have either in your team???

Other than that it was a pretty familiar week, ‘Romford Rejects’ ‘Dan Hoare’s Heros’ and ‘Champagne Pepe’ occupy the top three spots,over 80% of you captained Haaland, including ‘Drop Djed Fred’ who was the first to attack new Triple Captain front runner ‘Dom is below me’, but fell short with 56 points, with the Norwegian lucky to stay on the pitch and contributing a below average 18 points. Lets see how many of you hit that Triple Captain button as the double gameweeks approach!
