Three Game Weeks to go……and it’s all looking very good for ‘Studley Constable FC’ in the Evie Dove Foundation League, surging 45 points ahead of ‘Siuuuu you later’, with 2404 points, which also puts them inside the top 5k teams nationally, pretty impressive out of a total of over 11 million teams, albeit there are some very very bad teams out there…….even Redmen are in the top 7 million…………
Meanwhile, in what is quickly becoming THE STORY of the Evie Dove Foundation League, ‘Clatts FC’ ambled through another gameweek without a care in the world, taking a -2 for Schar, and a -1 for Dunk squarely on the chin, and now only need 142 points from the last three gameweeks to take the ‘Fewest Transfers’ prize……….’CLATTS’ ARE YOU OUT THERE, CAN YOU HEAR ME????? You are on the brink of making Fantasy Football history and you don’t even appear to be breaking sweat. How can you be so calm? How can you not play a single chip?? I can’t bear it……….. Please, please, please play your triple captain in the next 3 gameweeks. Oh and please take Harry Kane off your bench…..trust me when I say that he is a better footballer than Eric Dier……………
The other big interest for this week is the Evie Dove Cup, and it is quarter finals time, I am sure you will all join me in wishing ‘Sambuca Boys’, ‘J to the B’, ‘Dirty Martinez’, ‘DCUnited’, ‘MagaryaUnited’, ‘ForestinthePrem!’, and ‘Wibble’ all the very best in their quest to deny ‘Studley Constable FC’ a league and cup double!
So on we go to Gameweek 36, a double gameweek for Newcastle and Brighton – expecting to see a lot of teams with three Newcastle players this weekend, with Wilson and Isak the two most transferred in players, but we might all be a bit more tentative with Brighton despite it being the first of two consecutive doubles, the big question is do you load up on their players, or does the fact that they play Arsenal, Newcastle, and City, off the back of a drubbing by Everton, mean they are a swerve? And don’t forget as well as Brighton in GW37, there will also be double gameweeks for Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd, so bear that in mind when making your selection this gameweek!
Wishing you all the very best from all of us at the Evie Dove Foundation, have a good one everyone.
