Gameweek 27

The game weeks are rattling by, and another monthly prize is won, this time it was ‘Warnocks Warriors’ who saw away formidable opposition in November winner ‘VSquad’…….. league leader ‘Crystal Pellis’ ……..and September winner ‘Vic’s Victors’……… A very well earned victory, enjoy your February £50 ‘Warnocks’! 

As for the rest of you there is still plenty to aim for, we have March, April and May prizes available, the Evie Dove Foundation Cup will start in GW31, and we still have Top Gameweek and Best Free Hit to gun for, albeit 10 teams gambled their Free Hit chip this week, none of them landing a punch on ‘Notorious RBB’ who is still sitting pretty on 90 points…………. ‘Under my Cucurella’ was the best of a bad bunch on 65 points, including top scorer of the week Jarrod Bowen’s Monday night 20 points locked firmly on the bench as the 15th man………… it was never meant to be ‘Cucurella’!!

Back to ‘Notorious RBB’s’ 90 points…..could that be enough to take the big £75 prize if we all decide we need the Free Hit to somehow see us through the ominously looming GW29 with only four matches on the agenda (Burnley v Brentford, Luton v Nottingham Forest, West Ham v Aston Villa, Fulham v Spurs)????………… OR will there be a few brave teams out there that hold the Free Hit back for a future golden double gameweek somewhere between GW34 and GW37?? We shall see, I reckon there might be at least one or two mavericks out there that go on the offensive!
