Gameweek 30

So here it is………. the update that literally no-one has been waiting for………ten days on from the dullest gameweek in fantasy football history, and here I am trying to drum up some content….here goes!!!

Well it was of course a ‘Free Hit’ Festival with 65 of you throwing away the chance to compete for the £75 prize, opting instead to try and steal a march on your mini-league rivals that decided to just tough it out………. and on balance I’d say the ‘non Free Hitters’ just about came out on top………..

In an intriguing development the top five teams in the league ‘Crystal Pellis’, ‘Witty Name’, ‘Warnocks Warriors’, ‘Didier Dshamps’ ,and ‘DCFC’ all played their ‘Free Hit’ and all scored 21 points…..the result of all selecting an identical starting lineup………Flekken, Porro, Reguilon, Doughty, Maddison, Son, Bowen, Gibbs-White, Toney, Morris and Watkins………….a massive coincidence or have our leaders been rumbled????…….are they actually just all listening to the same Fantasy Football podcast??? Let’s see what those teams look like when they get back to their natural state in GW30!

Meanwhile in the March stakes, it’s great to see a new name at the top of the leaderboard…….Can you hold on ‘Mo Chance’ with just this weekend’s matches to go before we have our next £50 winner?!

Right, let’s move on and never talk of GW29 and its average of 12 points ever again! 

Looking forward Gameweek 30, brings all sorts of good tidings………the last international break of the season is done……a number of you I’m sure will be playing your wildcards……we have one week to go before we kick off the Evie Dove Foundation League Cup……another fantastic £75 prize available to the winner……and looming not to far away is a MASSIVE double gameweek in GW34. 

Add Man City v Arsenal to the mix and it’s fair to say we have lots to look forward to!
