Gameweek 32

Gameweek 31 is done…….farewell Southampton…….and Leicester and Ipswich won’t be far behind …..meanwhile at the top of the league Liverpool look to have it all wrapped up despite a loss to Fulham which witnessed one of the more questionable FPL assists of the season as Iwobi hoofed it up in the air leaving Muniz with lots of work to do, which he did with aplomb!

Is it the same story in the Evie Dove League????……….Netflix and Chilwell have been front running since gameweek 23, and have been almost flawless since then with a Salah triple captain delivering 87 points, and an Emery, Hurzeler, Glasner Assistant Manager combo delivering 46 points, to establish a 36 point lead with 7 games to go. An overall score of 2152 points is very impressive, putting our leader inside the top 5k teams in the world……not bad out of over 10m teams! Uptown Dunk and Endo the Line lie in wait in second and third place respectively, but so far it looks like Netflix and Chilwell are going to be hard to reel in…..

In other news, if it is now clear that you are not going to contend for the league or one of the other prizes, don’t forget that The Evie Dove Cup also got underway in GW31 and there is a £50 cash prize on offer to the winner………GW32 leads us to the Round of 128……. one tie which particularly caught my eye was this one, good luck Cally!!!!!!

In the April stakes good to see some new names in contention, Ange Summers, Notorious RBB and Wibble setting the pace, and the potential for points is big these next couple of weeks…….it’s a double gameweek for Newcastle and Crystal Palace, closely followed by GW33 with double gameweeks for Arsenal, Man City, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa……….so we should be seeing plenty of Bench Boosts and maybe even the odd Triple Captain or two, albeit surely there are not many of them hanging around any more? 

The big question is do you play the chip in 32 or 33? Remember if you are going for the Bench Boost there is huge value in having 15 fit players, so if you have any players that are yellow or red flagged, time to use those transfers or take a 4 point hit if necessary.
