The Gameweek 34 Free Hit Frenzy is done…….and despite our best efforts with 54 teams playing the chip, Bean Flickers remains in what must surely now be an unassailable lead in the £50 Free Hit stakes……. the closest that anyone came to toppling the leader in GW34 was DCFC who came in with a very respectable 106 points courtesy of a magnificent defence….Sa (12), Sessegnon (11), Ait Nouri (11) and Trippier (15)…….very very good good……but not good enough to trouble our leader on 123 points, courtesy of that bold move all the way back in GW24!
At the top of the Evie Dove league, Netflix and Chilwell continued impressively, showing no signs of fallibility with a ‘Free Hit’ powered 101 points, extending their lead over second placed DCFC who are 45 points behind, with Uptown Dunk 6 points further back……….Is it done or is there a final twist in the last four gameweeks………….???
In the Evie Dove Cup, Clueless Callys Club finally ran out of steam, getting thumped by the aforementioned DCFC, and we are down to the final sixteen teams in the running for the £50 prize, winner takes all!!
In the Clattenburg Trophy Frozen Foxes maintained their lead over Cook Burns Johnson and Chaddy’s Champs, with a score of 1993 points already exceeding the total points secured by Clatts FC in 22/23 (1959 points)……… now time to chase down Still No Changes score of 2071 points from 23/24 to secure the highest ever Clattenburg Trophy score!
In the April stakes Sorry John and Notorious RBB and Smith-Rowe Your Boat, took the the top three places securing cash prizes of £25, £15 and £10 respectively, congratulations to each of you, your winnings are on their way!
And in case you had not noticed………the GW35 deadline is tonight at 18:30…….so stop relaxing in the sunshine and get to it!!!!!!
