Gameweek 36

As the season draws to a close, and with the league title and relegation all settled in the Premier League, there is however still excitement out there………Leicester finally got a win at the expense of Southampton who remain marooned on 11 points…..Jamie Vardy scored his 199th goal and started making plans for a future career as a referee…….meanwhile the ref at Brighton v Newcastle had clearly captained Isak in his fantasy team, so desperate was he to reward the away team a penalty……and Cole Palmer is finally back…..that one that hit the post would have been a cracking goal, albeit he eventually got back in the points with that late penalty to down the champions…….and grandmaster Eze rounded off an epic week taking down Sapnap for a cool £20k, and simultaneously rewarding his FPL owners with a very tidy 10 point haul in the final game of the gameweek!

In the Evie Dove league, it was as you were at the top of the table with Netflix and Chilwell, DCFC, and Uptown Dunk remaining in the top three spots………likewise in the Clattenburg Trophy it is the usual suspects of Frozen Foxes, Cook Burns Johnson and Chaddy’s Champs that top the charts. 

At least we had the Evie Dove cup to offer up some jeopardy……. in the round of 16 the clash of the titans was champions elect Netflix and Chilwell against 22/23 league champion Uptown Dunk, with Netflix coming out on top

and they were duly rewarded with a quarter final against 23/24 league champions Crystal Pellis…….if Netflix are going to do the league and cup double they are going to do it the hard way!! Making up the last eight we have Sambuca Boys, Notorious RBB, Stranger Mings, Ayew kidding me, Vicky’s Giants, and Ange Summers, good luck to you all!

So on we go to gameweek 36, just three gameweeks to go…….if you have not yet played your Assistant Manager chip it is now or never!
