Gameweek 37

Just two gameweeks to go……….and surely now Netflix and Chilwell has the league wrapped up……they’ve been impressively front running since gameweek 23 and incredibly are just outside the top 1,000 in the world…….it would take a major collapse to see them blow it now……..Hardly Athletic and DCFC are lying in wait just in case.

Likewise in the Clattenburg Trophy Frozen Foxes surely have an unassailable lead particularly as Cook Burns Johnson and Chaddy’s Champs can do absolutely nothing to respond…….that is the name of the game!!!

So with those two trophies looking done and dusted, we need to turn our attention to both the May stakes, and the Evie Dove Cup. In the former we have Old Havertz Kai Hard leading the way after a gameweek 36 leading score of 85 points, almost double the average score of 43, followed closely by Paul’s ballers, Hardly Athletic, and a late 24/25 appearance from old friend Jumpers for Goalposts!

As for the cup, the tie of the round between former champ Crystal Pellis and champion elect Netflix and Chilwell predictably was a clash of the titans, however the dream of the league and cup double finally fell away as despite winning outright Netflix and Chilwell were denied on a recount with their minus 4 points for an additional transfer costing them dear……… meaning Crystal Pellis triumphed by just one point, and march into the semi finals.
