Well Gameweek 14 was all about just ONE team……….no not Endo the Line………. we are not going to talk much about them awkwardly making their way to the top of the league……..in reality the star of the gameweek 14 show was heknowswhattodo with a massive ONE HUNDRED points powered by Saliba (15), Damsgaard (9), Madueke (13), Watkins (12) and they were one of 49 teams that went with Captain Salah for a very tidy 36 points.
Great work heknowswhattodo………you are leading the early charge in the December stakes, followed by The Meggomix and Frozen Foxes………great to see some new names in the top places………..good luck everyone……. it’s another five gameweek month so a long way to go but you’ve made an awesome start!
Back to captaincy, amazingly Salah was only the third most popular captain in the Evie Dove Foundation League…………65 of you had your head turned by Cole Palmer heading down to the South Coast to play leaky Southampton………. whilst 56 of you stuck with misfiring Erling Haaland ……..why is it, despite the fact that Salah is having an incredible season, that so many of us keep going elsewhere for captaincy??.…….Well done to those of you that kept the faith, in particular Kick it like KT and Fire Chickens who tripled up on the Egyptian King for a massive 54 points….bold move fully rewarded!
A couple of you also went for triple captains on Haaland with Zack Max XI and Birdy scoring a more measly 15 points…….. the latter throwing……. but not exactly landing a punch at side bet rival Tis is Howe we do it!
The gameweeks are coming thick and fast now, next up it’s Gameweek 15. Your current deadline is 11:00 tomorrow (Saturday) morning, however watch out, there is every chance the 12:30 kick off between Everton and Liverpool will be cancelled due to Storm Darragh…..bear that in mind when you are picking your captain and vice captain too.
