Anyone remember GW3??………Everton led 2-0 at 87 minutes and somehow ended pointless .……..Erling Haaland scored his weekly hat-trick………..Eberichi Eze finally scored the goal he has nearly scored each week and been previously denied by the whistle and the woodwork…….and Erik Ten Hag confirmed he is not Harry Potter……….does that jog your memory?

In the Evie Dove League ‘Might DeLigt Later’ was one of 21 teams ripping up best laid plans with a wildcard, amazingly ditching Haaland despite enoying 51 points the previous week…..a ruthless and bold move that fully paid off delivering 92 points powered by new arrivals Salah and Mbeumo, AND catapulting them to the top of the Evie Dove League AND securing the first cash prize of the season – £25 to the August winner!

 Status quo for ‘Stockport Messi’ in second place, scooping a £15 win, and team of the week was ‘Under my Cucurella’ who stormed into third place with 106 points from only ten players, nice work ‘Cucurella’, £10 winging its way to you! Complete top 10 for August here…….

After the Triple Captain frenzy in GW2, it was all a bit quieter on the chip front, with just one TC this week…… ‘WeThreeKings’ capitalised on the Haaland hat trick in East London for another 51 pointer……… kudos to you for going against the grain and choosing an away match at West Ham rather than the home banker against Ipswich….another bold move that paid off!!

We also saw the first ‘Free Hits’ of the season…..this chip allows you to completely change your squad for one week only (and then the following week you revert back to your previous squad)……and ‘Hodges FC’ is now setting the pace for the £50 prize out scoring ‘Kopwinners’ on 65 points…….. albeit with 224 Free Hits still to be played don’t go spending it yet ‘Hodges’!
