And the final team in the roll of honour ‘Lucas Team’ also managed to take top position in the Free Hit stakes with 75 points, 50 of them from one player. Onto the league……..’Stockport Messi’ what did you do????? It was all going so well …….and then you played the wildcard…….32 points bumping you back to 4th place, but let’s face it a wildcard is not just for one gameweek, lets see if that plays out in the longer term. And of course you were not alone………… 22 other teams also played the wildcard, whilst ‘Rovers Delight’ went one step further having played the wildcard last GW, it was all change again with a ‘Free Hit’ this GW, but sadly the score did not trouble either ‘luca’ or ‘hodges’! And whilst Rovers have been in an absolute frenzy of activity, at the opposite end of the spectrum in the lay back and relax Clattenburg trophy we have three teams on more than 400 points ‘van de ven diagram’ leading the way on 406 points, closely followed by ‘Onana Nana’ and last seasons Clattenburg champ ‘Cook Burns Johnson’ …………..impressive to see all three of your zero transfer teams in the top 30 odd teams in the league!
Meanwhile ‘EnzOh No You Didn’t’, ‘I hate Nim’bees’, and ‘Under my Cucurella’ jumped into the top three places in the league, and we also saw September draw to a close with another £50 payout, congratulations ‘French Flair’ taking the top prize of £25, closely followed by ‘Vicky’s Giants’ winning £15 and almost repeating their September victory from 23/24, and then sharing a tenner between them we have ‘EnzOh No You Didn’t’, ‘Sky Blue Army’, and ‘mum’.
