Gameweek 12 is behind us and Thomas Frank……we feel your pain……you were so close to putting Eze in your team…….you ended up with Kudus…….and Eze notched a hat trick and 20 points. Man, this game is so frustrating!!

Meanwhile in the Evie Dove League, team of the week was Winners with a five at the back strategy paying dividends thanks to a Munoz (14) and Murillo (17) combo….79 points more than double the miserly 39 point average for the gameweek with a number of the big guns misfiring. Talking of which…..remember when the Haaland v Salah captaincy debate was a thing? Well it is no longer……Last gameweek 148 of you went with the Norwegian, and just 19 the Egyptian….and a few of those are soldiering on in the Clattenburg Trophy so have little choice but to stay loyal!

At the top of the Evie Dove League Zubi Zubi Doo, Warthog Dukes and SportsBarPinCushion shuffled around the top three places……but watch out….sitting quietly in sixth place is 24/25 champion Netflix and Chilwell……like a cameraman at a Man City game all you leaders should be very much on your guard!

One gameweek to go in the November stakes and leading the way in the first three places are Tymon for Stoppages who took third place in August, First the Wirtz, and YAKTV FC……..Big money at stake £25 for first, £15 for second and £10 for third…….might be time for a strategically played Chip to take the spoils in the final gameweek of November??
