14 Gameweeks and finally, finally Florian Wirtz has an assist……..ignore the fact that it was actually a shot that he dragged wide that hit Mukiele……in Fantasy Football an assist is an assist……and the £116m player is out of the starting blocks…… there is always hope even if you are having a desperate season!

Talking of hope……last week it was Stone Cross FC and Sambuca Boys who were setting their stall out to hang in there for 25 gameweeks and snaffle a massive equal share of the £25 Best Free Hit prize……..sadly the reality was that they fell at the first hurdle…..the first blow came from Here we go! equalling their score of 81 points…….at this point we thought it looked like a three way share of the £25…..£8.33 each, just about enough for a pint in London…..but then along came Gin City to take the spoils with their bid of 83 points……but before they could even raise an arm in celebration they were in turn sideswiped by reds on the up with a cool 85 points, powered by Haaland captain (28), Foden (17), Munoz (14) and Lacroix(8). The treasured £25 prize is in your hands reds on the up, and you’ve also sneaked into the top ten in the early December stakes tucked in behind Wirtz Among Equals, Astwood Rangers, and RelegationZone, albeit its a five gameweek month so plenty of time for others to catch up too.

At the top of the Evie Dove league Zubi Zubi Doo, Warthog Dukes, and It’s who we are mate all put in a good showing to hold their position, although it’s a tie for third with Tymon for Stoppages with a well timed Bench Boost bringing in Guehi’s 14 points from the bench……..meanwhile in the Clattenburg Trophy Chaddy’s Champs scored a very creditable 73 points to maintain their lead and also continue to hold down a spot in the top 30 places, a good showing with zero changes.

And as we turn our attention to gameweek 15 remember its last chance saloon for those free transfers that you are sitting on……after 11:00 on Saturday morning we will all be topped up to 5 free transfers, no matter how many you have currently, so if you have them……USE THEM!
