Step forward In the Mudryk……. what a week that was……..a member of the 100 club for the second time this season courtesy of a solid defensive combo of Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal players, Ekitiké up front, and a nice vice captaincy on Fernandes as captain Haaland took it easy on the bench……..and this was enough to power them to the top of the Evie Dove League……pushing Warthog Dukes into second place, with Stone Cross FC solidly in third.

In the February stakes, the spoils went to Saka Spuds, just beating FC Touche into second place by a single point. In joint third were Mcivers misfits and Chateau XI the latter of whom can feel particularly hard done by, as their Bench Boost yielded just two points with Haaland, Dubravka and Andersen all drawing a blank……….enough to make you as sick as Scott Parker as his Burnley team somehow conceded a late winner and had two marginal VAR calls go against them…….

Highlight of the weekend had to be Jordan Pickford’s save and resulting celebration……if you have not seen it check it out…..it is quite remarkable…..made all the better for the way it thumps off the crossbar…….and after that standing back and admiring that you’d better turn your attention to your team…… .It’s a quick turnaround with a Tuesday 18:30 deadline!
