If you are the lucky winner of a cash prize then we will either pay it directly into your bank account, or you can choose to donate it back to the charity, your decision completely, it is all handled completely privately.

And remember, only those who have made a donation can win…….. If you are one of the 40 or so teams that have entered, and not made a donation you are playing just for fun and any winnings will automatically go back to the foundation.  I’ll ping you all one more email reminder and then leave you alone!

On to the action……..two gameweeks in and things are starting shape up…….At the top of the Evie Dove League Playing the Channels went Triple Captain Gyokeres v Leeds and it paid off as he delivered two goals and two bonus points, which all rounded up and tripled yielded 36 of a total of 91 Gameweek 2 points.

This means an overall score of  174 points……which remarkably puts Channels inside the top 1,000 teams out of 11.3m in the world! Good going that is!

91 points was also top GW score to date so takes the early lead in that £40 cash prize category, however don’t start spending it yet Channels……that score will be beaten later in the season…..last season the top score was 155 points, and I’m expecting more of the same again!

However you are clearly in the running for the August monthly prize, with just one more gameweek to go, We Go Again and Brian Munich have got you in their sights, all the best to all of you this weekend!

We also have an early marker down for the best Free Hit prize……..Vik-to-ry went for it in Gameweek 2 and secured 61 points, but painfully left Pickfords 15 points on the bench. Once again do not start spending your £25 prize……good effort Vik-to-ry but this score will be beaten!

Regarding the Clattenburg Trophy, it’s hard to see the wood from the trees right now……a number of teams have made zero transfers including four in the top ten, however it may simply be the case that they have a settled squad for now and transfers are on the horizon.One we can be sure of however is STILL No Changes………I like the emphasis on STILL……..our Clattenburg champ of 23/24, and runner up in 24/25 is already laying down a Clattenburg marker!
