Gameweek 33

Gameweek 33 is here and it is a big one with a double gameweek for Bournemouth, Brighton, Burnley, Chelsea, Leeds, and Man City……….which of course in turn means all of those teams get a blank gameweek in GW34 so this is the time to use those chips carefully……..if you still have them the popular play looks like Bench Boost GW33 and Free Hit GW34……..or if your GW33 team looks strong in terms of the team you can field in GW34 then Free Hit in GW33 could be the play. Obviously if you’ve still got a wildcard too then you have no end of choices as to how you play it……Confused? Suffice to say whatever you do don’t let those chips go begging…..only six gameweeks to go now.

A quick recap on Gameweek 32, an average score of 46, but in the Evie Dove League we are anything but average and our top score was a massive 90 points from Go with the Flo with a nice defensive double up on Guehi and Mukiele (29 points in total). Also one of three teams to go Triple Captain Fernandes, and a nice differential 11 points from Rio Ngumoha a potential FPL star of the future. And of course that sets the tone for the April stakes with The Hairy Mumpers and Phylaswinnas in hot pursuit.

Most popular chip of the week was the wildcard with 38 of you reorganising your squad in time for the final push………meanwhile some of you suffered an embarrassment of riches on the subs bench with HVS almost taking the title from Stone Cross FC………39 points in reserve was good but not quite good enough but deserves listing out nonetheless……Roefs (11), O’Reilly (14), Cherki (10), Gabriel (4)

I hope you’ve learnt your lesson HVS……get those Man City players on the pitch……not only have they got a double GW this week but they’ve also commenced their well versed death march towards the Premier League title!

All that remains is to wish you luck…….you have lots to think about and a long time for regret with a gameweek that starts on Saturday at 12:30 and ends on Thursday evening…….your deadline is as always 90 minutes in advance of the first game so that’s tomorrow at 11:00.

Enjoy and all the best from all of us at the Evie Dove Foundation
