Gameweek 34

Gameweek 33 is done and it was MASSIVE! Not only did we bid a fond farewell to Liam Rosenior, we also saw some incredible scores in the Evie Dove League with an enormous 70 teams joining the 100 club!

There are too many of you to list out but special mentions for the three teams on 134 points……… It’s who we are mate, Slot One Inn and Back to the FuSchar………..that’s the highest score of the season so far, absolutely obliterating the Tamerz & Frimpingpong score of 113 points which had stood since GW17. Amazingly 34 teams managed to better that score in GW33 with the Bench Boost featuring heavily……this was the most popular chip of the gameweek……..46 of you getting points from 15 players………..As for the cash prize for top gameweek score, that’s currently a three way tie for the £40…….the rest of you have five gameweeks to deny each of these players their £13.33 spoils!!

Next up was the Free Hit…….39 teams went on the front foot and chased down the points……like your style……complete and utter disregard for the impending blank Gameweek 34 paid off handsomely for a number of you, not leastM BOOOM O who scored a massive 126 points, putting them firmly in the lead for the Best Free Hit prize of £25……snatching the cash away from Long Pond Sports XI who had been sitting there with 95 points since GW16

Special mention too for a manager that is double parking the main league and the Clattenburg Trophy…….Fecal Matters just missed out on the highest gameweek score with 133 points, and STILL No Changes played the Free Hit for 109 points and closed the gap on Chaddy’s Champs who until then had looked home and hosed……….with 51 points between them could there still be a final twist in the Clattenburg with five gameweeks to go?

In other news the April stakes is unsurprisingly dominated by some familiar names Warthog Dukes, BeJarrudeNotTo, and JenniFer Lopez……one gameweek to go to reel them in…….

Also quietly in the background the Evie Dove Cup has been playing out, in GW33 it was the round of 64 and there were some cracking matches and some really unfortunate losers, tie of the round has to be this one…..hard lines Wilcox FC!

So onto GW34 and it’s time to pay the price…..blank gameweeks for Bournemouth, Brighton, Burnley, Chelsea, Leeds, and Man City mean it’s either time for the Free Hit or get your hard hat on!!
