Gameweek 6

All change at the top of the league…….not the prem obviously where Liverpool are five from five…..but the Evie Dove League where Barack Opalmer assumed presidential status on 328 points, three clear of Udogie Position and Tymon for Stoppages, 3 teams out of only 33 that went for captain Haaland……a good move for 18 points, especially as they gained yet more ground on the 100 Salah captainers on 10 points…….4 point Joao Pedro was also popular this week, captained by 31 disappointed teams.

In the September stakes early leaders FC Touche were nudged into second position by Warthog Dukes who delivered the highest score of the gameweek on 82 points, including 15 points from the inspired midfield choice of Anton Stach, plus a tasty 25 point Bench Boost…..1 of 10 teams to roll that chip out this week. Mentioning the bench no one troubled the 35 point record of Mr 55p this week, but a special shout out for Notorious RBB who managed to leave Gravenberch’s 15 pointer behind…..a painful moment when you realise you have the gameweeks highest scorer in your squad but not in your team!

Last GW of September this weekend, so time to go all out for the £50 cash pot!

Another 22 wildcards played this week, never have we seen so many managers dissatisfied with their squad so early in the season…….and the Haaland charge is beginning as we build up to Man City at home to Burnley, he is already the most transferred in player with over 1 million teams adding the Norwegian, closely followed by Bournemouth pair Senesi and Semenyo. 

Meanwhile going out the other way the most transferred out player is Ekitike courtesy of his midweek goal celebration, and he is closely followed by team mate Mo Salah……..that Haaland money has to come from somewhere. Next is Cole Palmer, that injury is just not clearing up, and unsurprisingly he is accompanied by Robert Sanchez……..a painful 41 teams in the Evie Dove League had the misery of watching their goalie head off for the early bath and a minus 3 points. However remember there is always someone worse off than you…….Sesko Clubcard did the Sanchez / Reinildo double for a combined minus 5 points! Ah the misery of Fantasy Football………
