Gameweek 8

Remember the Premier League?………Well, it’s finally back……..

No recollection of what happened several weeks ago in Gameweek 7? Well let me help with that………

At the top of the Evie Dove Foundation League, our leader is Barack Opalmer, one of 18 teams to roll out the wildcard, and Barack’s Haaland and Salah strategy was finally discarded………it’s pretty obvious which one was let go! With the Egyptian King misfiring he is currently the most transferred out player in FPL with over 0.5m teams saying farewell. A similar number of teams are welcoming in the sensation of the season so far Antoine Semenyo, and he delivered once again in GW7 with 18 points against Fulham, congratulations to the 8 of you that captained him, and in particular Take a chance on Mee who tripled up for a lovely 54 points!

Next in the league we have Warthog Dukes and RealTwenty3FC, with the latter letting some bench points go begging on Timber (11) and Kudus (12)……..always a shame when you have a whole two week international break to keep looking at that!

The October stakes also got underway, and our early leader is a 20 point Bench Boost powered Return of Moyesiah……….joining the 100 club on 101 points, not quite enough to topple Top Gameweek Leader FC Touché, but impressive nonetheless. All to play for here with two October gameweeks to go…….tucked in behind are the aforementioned Take a chance on Mee and Eze come Eze go.

In the Clattenburg Trophy we now have 35 teams doing absolutely nothing at all in their quest for this prestigious prize and Chaddy’s Champs continue to lead the charge on 445 points, from STILL No Changes on 388 points, and then Segnahcon on 375 points………is that an unassailable lead or can Chaddy’s somehow be reeled in? Or will they change tack, make a transfer and go for the overall prize??

So back to it…….it’s a Saturday 11:00 deadline so take your time and gun for that green arrow! And don’t forget how much Salah loves to play against Man Utd……transfer him out at your peril!
