Gameweek 5

Well it was all about Chelsea in GW4 as everyone expected them to maul the tigers………121 of you opted for either Palmer or Joao Pedro as captain, 8 of them Triples………and nice work Gittens Serious…..your Chelsea TC was enough to get you in the 100 club and power you into the top three alongside Haul or Nothing and Que Salah Salah……….meanwhile joining you in the 100 club were six others……..23/24 champ Netflix & Chilwell, rohl with it, Real Twenty3, team of the week Suffolk ‘N’ Good powered by the best of 5 Bench Boosts, and Sound of da Tzolis who with 103 points simultaneously kicked Noahs Angels out of the top spot for the Free Hit £50 prize…..A bad week for Noahs Angels who also realised after splurging Bench Boost, Free Hit, Wildcard and Triple Captain in the first four gameweeks that that is it until the new batch of chips arrives in GW19! 

……..And an extra special shout out for the final member of the 100 club……… Long Pond Sports XI who came roaring back from zero points in GW3 with 100 points in GW4……..I’ve not got the stats but that must be the biggest gameweek on gameweek recovery in the history of the Evie Dove League!!

And then we have the 66 Haaland captainers……well you got lucky…….notwithstanding a Pro Ref apology the goal stood, as did the 9 points you just about got away with that one!

And with the first international break of the season looming, we head into the last gameweek in the September stakes with only 13 points separating the top ten so very much all to play for……good luck to you all…..prizes available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd……..

And the Friday night deadline is back………18:30 and then we are done for a couple of weeks so choose wisely!
