About Annabelle

I’m Annabelle and I’m doing the 16 mile big coastal walk to raise money for The Evie Dove Foundation. Some of my family and my wonderful dog Luna are also joining for the little canal walk (she’s 9 in human years, so a little old for a 16 miler!) I work at Great Ormond Street Hospital and have been involved with The Evie Dove Foundation since 2024 when they so kindly funded my first year of study in family therapy. Two years later, I am now about to embark on my final stage of training to become a family therapist working in children’s health, which wouldn’t have been possible without the foundation’s support. Funding further education in paediatrics is a real challenge, so what the foundation do to help healthcare professionals is incredibly valuable. I am just one of many others supported by them, and the the impact goes on to benefit children and young people in hospital in so many different ways. Thank you to The Evie Dove Foundation for doing something so great in the face of something unimaginable, and thank you for reading 🙂
