About Catherine

Hi, I’m Catherine, and next year I’ll be taking on my very first London Marathon! To say I’m excited would be an understatement… but if I’m honest, there’s definitely a little fear mixed in with the determination too. I love running, but it’s been a while since I’ve tackled this kind of distance, and I’ve never taken part in an event as huge as the London Marathon. The reason I’m doing this is to support the incredible Evie Dove Children’s Charity. They provide vital support to children battling cancer and to the families who face the unimaginable heartbreak of watching their child go through treatment. As a mum myself, I can’t begin to imagine what these families endure, and I wanted to do something that could make even a small difference. Every mile I run will be for these amazing children and their families. If you’re able to support me, whether by making a donation, sharing my page, or simply cheering me on, I would be so grateful.
