About Ella

Ella first heard about the Foundation through her colleague Caroline, Evie Dove’s aunt. The Foundation was established in memory of Evie, who tragically lost her battle with cancer in 2022, aged 13, only a year after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. The Foundation supports the education, training and professional development of those working in, or returning to, paediatric care in UK hospitals, particularly by funding specialist training not readily available through the NHS. Since becoming parents to our son Finnian, and with family members who work or have worked in the NHS, this is a cause that feels especially meaningful to us. We would like to help ensure that children and their families receive the best possible care when they need it most. For anyone who would like to contribute as a wedding gift, we would be very grateful, but there is of course absolutely no expectation to do so.
