About Jamie

This year I will be supporting dear friends Howard, Katie and Ted by walking for Evie Dove., their much loved daughter and sister. A journey of love and remembrance. At only 13 years old Evie lost her courageous battle with cancer. Her spirit, smile and unyielding strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her and inspires those who didn’t have the good fortune to. In her memory we will be walking 16 miles to raise funds for the Evie Dove foundation to sponsor and support the further education of young medical professionals in paediatric care to help thousands of children in the future, and honour Evie and all she stood for. This is more than just a physical walk but a way to honour Evie’s life, raise awareness and contribute to a cause that means to much to her family.
