About Rowen

I feel incredibly fortunate to have been supported by the Evie Dove Foundation, who generously funded my MSc in Cancer Care over the past two years. The Foundation was established in memory of Evie, a kind and vibrant young person who passed away from a brain tumour in 2022. Her legacy, rooted in kindness and giving back, lives on through the Foundation’s mission to support paediatric healthcare professionals in advancing their education and, in turn, improving care for children. Danny and I are both paediatric physiotherapists who have spent several years working in childhood cancer care. Evie’s story resonates deeply with us, and her values reflect what we hope to celebrate on one of the most meaningful days of our lives.
