Our Heroes

The work you do is so important in providing funding for courses, training, learning and further development. It is especially important for nurses, who like myself function in the role of a middle grade doctor but, unlike my doctor colleagues, do not receive any funding for courses or further development.

It was a privilege to attend the Neonatal Hot Topics conference in the US and without your generous support, this would have placed an increased personal financial burden on me. Once again, my thanks to you and the foundation.

I am really touched to have the foundation’s support, and it’s an honor to be recognised as an Evie Dove Hero. The work you do is truly remarkable and I will make sure to let my colleagues know about your wonderful foundation.

I am feeling incredibly grateful for the support I received from The Evie Dove Foundation which meant I was able to attend and present at the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology conference, 2023.

My research is focused on investigating behavioural problems and the hormone oxytocin in children with conditions affecting the hypothalamo-pituitary axis, including craniopharyngioma and septo-optic dysplasia. The conference allowed me to raise awareness of the need to integrate psychological and medical care in paediatric healthcare.
