What a day! Thank you so much for being part of a truly spectacular day! It was totally heartwarming to watch that ‘sea of pink’ make its way along the canal, the seafront and the harbour arm. Thank you again to everyone who played a part in making it happen, in particular to our hosts at Unit 1, and of course to you for getting involved and joining us on the day. It is fair to say that we did Evie super proud. ❤️
We are delighted to now update you that we have now raised £20,000!!!!! That included over £1,200 that together you raised on the day from the collecting tins and the QR code stickers, it was uplifting to meet so many generous and genuinely interested people along the way. It was the kind of day that reminds you there are lots and lots of very good people out there…..bar the odd angry cyclist of course!!
A huge thank you also to good friends Oli & Patsy Ashford who organised their own version of the walk in the Midlands, to KTown who organised the second annual Cyprus leg of the walk, and also to our sponsors including Biddenden Juice, Kent Crisps, Tescos, Asda, The Harbour Arm, and Trophies Plus Medals whose contributions mean every single penny raised in donations will go towards creating new heroes.

We have also set the date for next year!! Saturday 6th September so if you want to do it all again we recommend you book early and get the date in the diary.
We expect that next year’s event will once again be a sellout, and of course all being well we will be welcoming back the legend that is Dickie Mackness, from his walk around Britain!
