Please briefly describe your clinical/medical experience to date?
I am a paediatric registrar at St Mary’s Hospital.
What motivated you to enter paediatric care in the first place?
I was motivated by the high standard of care provided to paediatric patients, which is something I aspired to be part of. I always want to strive to do my best in providing care to anyone I am looking after. It is such a vital part of our job, allowing the children and their families to feel safe and secure in the care they will receive. I also love the multidisciplinary aspect to our speciality, as we all bring different points of view to the table.
How will the funding from The Evie Dove Foundation help you to advance your career and your impact/services to children?
I am currently studying for a Msc in applied paediatrics at Imperial college. This will aid me in hoping to improve asthma care, as shockingly children still die from asthma. I want to undertake a project looking at developing and evaluating interventions, to promote a more integrated approach to asthma care. The foundation is so unique, there are so very few organisations like this that exist so by promoting their work and encouraging others will keep this amazing work going for other future generations.

I live in London and enjoy exploring places and cultures in this big world we live in! I also have an unhealthy addiction to true crime documentaries.

Developing and improving professionally and socially is a lifelong skill and I want to continue. You can never learn enough from any source.
